Kazy Creatives
KAZY CREATIVE intervention has been in progress for the last three years and has benefitted more than 3000 youths. This intervention comprises of two components. Namely, doing trainings and creating employment. The training components target all categories of youths and pays closer attention to the most vulnerable youths.
The employment component has two parts. In the event a youth has undergone some form of training, such a youth is empowered using value addition methodology to enhance skill. However, if the youth has not any formal training, such a youth first goes through the component one of kazy creative of training then proceeds for job placement.
That the training component of the intervention is in progress. Worldwaysone Ventures Limited is a contracted FORMAL TRAINING PROVIDER under Kenya Youth Employment and Opportunities Project (KYEOP) in Migori, Kisii, Nyandarua, Kakamega and Kilifi Counties. We are already implementing NITA approved curricula on Electrical Installation and Wireman, Motor Vehicle Mechanics, Garment Making, Mobile Phones Repair, Motor Cycle Repair and Welding and Fabrication that are also geared towards the successes of the KAZY CREATIVE intervention.
That the VALUE ADDITION SKILLS program is target youths (Orphans, Persons With Disability, Single Mothers, Youth Affected By Conflict, Street Youth And Youth From Vulnerable And Marginalized) upon completion of the KYEOP five months program are eligible to benefit from the KAZY CREATIVE intervention. For example, the target youths who have taken motor vehicle mechanics are proposed to undertake one month SKILLS’ VALUE ADDITION intervention under the proposed KAZY CREATIVE program, by obtaining further trainings on computerized motor vehicle mechanics and diagnostics. It is believed that after successful completion of such an intervention, the beneficiary youths taking various select trades shall never lack job opportunities and will get equipped with emerging trends in motor vehicle mechanics and other selected trades. The establishment of KAZY CREATIVE under Worldwaysone is subdivided into three compartments, namely Open Spaces for meetings and trainings; Idea Spaces for ideas creations, innovations with value addition skills, and Work Spaces with assorted tools and various equipment for actual job and innovations/ideas execution by the target youths.
